Privacy Policy — Lazy Goat Games

Lazy Goat Games LLC ("we," "us," "our") develops and publishes mobile games, including Bloq Invaders and other titles released under the Lazy Goat Games name (collectively, the "Games"). This Privacy Policy applies to all Games we publish, unless a specific Game's store listing links to a different, Game-specific policy. It explains what information the Games collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. By downloading or using any of our Games, you agree to the collection and use of information as described here.
1. Information We Collect
We do not require account creation, and we do not directly collect your name, email address, or other personal contact information within our Games. The information collected comes from the third-party services listed below.
Automatically collected data (via Firebase Analytics): Device and usage information such as device model, operating system version, app version, general (city-level) location derived from IP address, language settings, and in-app event data — for example, gameplay progress events (session start, level/wave progress, game over/win), purchase and unlock events, and ad interaction events. The exact set of events varies by Game.
Advertising data (via Google AdMob): Advertising identifier (Android Advertising ID / Google Advertising ID), ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, dismissals), and device information used to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads where permitted by your settings and region.
Purchase data (via Google Play Billing): In-app purchases (e.g., ad removal, cosmetic content) are processed entirely by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. We receive confirmation that a purchase was completed so the relevant Game can unlock the corresponding content.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information above to: operate and maintain core gameplay features (progress tracking, content unlocks, purchase entitlement); understand how players use our Games so we can fix bugs and improve game design; serve and measure advertising; and detect, prevent, and address technical issues (via crash reporting).
3. Third-Party Services
The Games use the following third-party services, each of which collects and processes data under its own privacy policy:

Not every Game necessarily uses every service above; a Game's store listing "Data Safety" section reflects what that specific title uses. We encourage you to review Google's policies, as they govern how Google collects and uses data across its services.
4. Children's Privacy
Our Games are generally rated for a general audience and are not intended to be directed specifically at children under 13, unless a specific Game's store listing states otherwise. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If a Game's target audience or content is child-directed, ad serving for that Game will be configured for child-directed treatment in accordance with COPPA and Google Play Families Policy requirements.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. Data collected through Firebase and AdMob is shared with Google as the service provider, subject to Google's privacy and data processing terms. We do not share data with other third parties for their own independent marketing purposes.
6. Your Choices

Limit ad personalization: You can opt out of personalized advertising via your device's ad settings (Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization") or reset your advertising identifier.

Analytics: Firebase Analytics collection can be limited through your device-level Google Ads and Analytics settings where supported.

Purchases: Purchase history and refund requests are managed through your Google Play account, not through us directly.
7. Data Retention
Analytics and advertising data is retained by Google/Firebase according to their respective retention policies. Locally, our Games store non-personal gameplay data (settings, unlocked content, high scores) on-device; this data is removed if you uninstall the Game.
8. Security
We rely on industry-standard practices provided by Google Play Billing, Firebase, and AdMob to protect data in transit and at rest. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our Games after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
